Default S204 Performance Damper

Anyone know if this thing actually works? I've read numerous reviews that it made a world of difference to the S204's handling. I might give it a whirl.

Looks expensive...
Probably better to go buy a Cusco rear v-brace

Yamaha has worked with other manufacturers before, such as developing VVT-i for Toyota.

Yamaha was instrumental in developing the 5 valve head. They also supplied heads for some of the Toyota GT4's.

As for the damper I reckon it will make lick all difference.

There are 2 dampers. The one in the boot will do minimal I think. But when coupled with the underbody damper it is meant to be pure sex.

The dampers have been tuned by Yamaha specifically for the S204. From all accounts they change the behaviour of the car into something that is a lot better on corners.
