Got a 02 wrx 3inch turbo back no cats, up-pipe. Just fitted a front mount with a hks bov, does anyone recon i should get a tune yet, was gonna get verso in july/august. Just askin cause i nailed it the other night and it sounded like i had a little detenation. Can anyone help please

shouldnt be nailing it without a tune.

yeah with those mods on a 01+ i would be getting a tune as soon as you can, or just dont fang it (yeah right )

Yeh its hard not to, its been running fine before i got the front mount, isnt the stock computers self learning to a certain degree? also it is running really really rich.

i got a my01 my self and i got all the mods but havnt fitted em yet just waiting for some more cash to get a tune

get a tune dude asap coz those ecus rnt self learing

01+ wrx should not be modded without a tune, its the gc8 wrxs that can learn.

How could it be pinging if you are running really rich?

If your running rich you should be ok till you get a tune its probley running rich down low and leans out up top.

If your that concerned chuck it on dyno and get a A/F print out
