Turbo timers

Just woundering wat are the better turbo timer's for wrx's, n r they easy to install without damaging the pin code to start yr car?

turbo timers are not necessary on a WRX as the turbo itself is water and oil cooled. if you do give it a good extended thrashing just take it easy in the last one or two minutes before you switch off.

Yea what he said!!!!

Just introducing more potential for electrical faults when for the way you will drive the car 99% of the time it just isn't necesary. For the very occasional real hammering just sit in the car for a few minutes. You have probably spent the better part of an hour (or more) flogging it :D is it really going to have a huge impact on your schedual to spend a minute or two quality time with it on those odd occasions.

Stay off boost last 2-3 mins you should be fine . . .

I have a greddy TT very easy to use but yea honestly i turn it off before i get out of car anyways only if iv really been thrashing it i would leave it on!

if you really want one though, i use the apexi one.
still interfere with the alarm system but works 90% of the time.

As stated before i think only air cooled turbos require turbo timers. And as the WRX turbos are oil/water cooled they are not needed.

Spend the $140 on a hooker or blackjack.

Yeah I stay off boost for the last couple of minutes and then another 40 or so seconds idle till the highjack mode starts to beep.

a hooker would be the better option
