Default HID blown

Hey Guys

Last night one of my HID headlights blew and as you can imagine the look while driving at night is both ugly and unsafe. I am unsure about these headlights and how much they cost to repair etc. so any advice would be appreciated. Do i need to look at model numbers, is there a certain place to get replacements???

I have tried to get in contact with Giddyup as the car i now own used to be his but i have not been able to get a reply from him.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

check fuses, might just be a fuse, if not you might have to swap the ballast around and see if it fires, could be a faulty igniter, or ballast. or just the bulb.

bulbs *are* suppsoe to have a lifetime of 2000-3000 hours.

Yeah the likely hood of the bulb it self to be blowen unless it has been smashed is unlikely. The Gas inside is ment to last like Saturation said 2000-3000 before they become dull. Its most likely a faulty Ballast so trial and error to find out if its the bulb or ballast its self
