HID blown
Hey Guys
Last night one of my HID headlights blew and as you can imagine the look while driving at night is both ugly and unsafe. I am unsure about these headlights and how much they cost to repair etc. so any advice would be appreciated. Do i need to look at model numbers, is there a certain place to get replacements??? I have tried to get in contact with Giddyup as the car i now own used to be his but i have not been able to get a reply from him. Any help would be greatly appreciated! GOOSE |

check fuses, might just be a fuse, if not you might have to swap the ballast around and see if it fires, could be a faulty igniter, or ballast. or just the bulb.
bulbs *are* suppsoe to have a lifetime of 2000-3000 hours. |

Yeah the likely hood of the bulb it self to be blowen unless it has been smashed is unlikely. The Gas inside is ment to last like Saturation said 2000-3000 before they become dull. Its most likely a faulty Ballast so trial and error to find out if its the bulb or ballast its self
