Accord EURO wanting to put in EJ205/7T
 

Hey,

Ok, my friend wants to convert hes accord euro engine(K20 i think) to an ej205/7T.
I prolly should be asking what has to be done on the honda forums, but just seeing if any people here know what would have to be done, what parts would have to be changed, and how hard it will be to do.

ANY help/advice towards making this happen will be greatly appreciated!

Drop in a K20A or a K24A with K20A head, and a Jackson Racing supercharger...will be plenty fast enough!

yeah he thought about supercharging it but he said till cost him about 5k all up and the power gain wont be worth it for that price.
He wants the boxer in it because he said you cant beat the sound :D:D

Stupid idea. If he wants a boxer, get a subaru.

joe is on the money. k20a from a itr. use an itr head and a k24a bottom end.

build up the motor and then drop a turbo or a s/c.

all those options would be cheaper than fitting a ej20 (which is stupid).

he just wants to justify having a bonnet scoop on an accord

It'll still be FWD. Torque Steer anyone?

If you want to do something, Id suggest starting with a decent base. Integra or EG9 Civic. Good Chassis and nice and light.

Just part ex it for a type R or type S integra
