Default Gilmer Drive?

Im not sure if its possible but i used to live in maylands and their was a hot sti that lived near me and i swear it sounded like it had gilmer drive on it?

For those of you that dont know gilmer drive is replacing the belts/pulleys with toothed belts and pulleys for no slip and gives off an awesome sound.

eg www.youtube.com/watch?v=9g9d9G3NaYc

I cant find any info on it being done on a wrx, i know they do it for rx7's. Maybe they are made by someone else for subaru or possibly something else making the sound?

Someone suggested the lightweight pulleys or a straight cut gearbox but i though i'd ask

Straight cut gears

Wouldnt be much point for the wrx really - and considering the length of the belts.. and the minimal room in engine bay anyways - rather pointless

Gilmer belt drives are great, if you drive a rotary or a V8
