Default Question about HKS Bov's

Hi there i've recently brought a 99sti den brought a HKS ssvbov from im mate that had a 2000 wrx the adaptor bit thing fits all good but the hole doesnt really match up where the air comes out but the bov still works but i reckon it doesnt sound as it suppose to be so just wondering if theres a difference between the 99 adaptor and the 2000 one... can anyone shed the light for me thanks!

punctuation is your friend..

Apart from that, the 99 and 2000 adaptor should be exactly the same.
