if anyone is interested, i have 3 pairs of white wedge parker globes (same as the blue ones you get for free). i replaced my standard yellow ones, and matches HIDs a lot better.
Yeah I'll swap the ballasts around and see what happens. If it's the ballast, any chance of getting a warranty claim of these guys??

Also the wedge parker globes you are talking about, how much do you want for them?? i bought a pair of ebay but wouldnt mind having a spare pair just in case

I'm having the same issue (one of the HIDs doesnt stay on) lights up and then dies... It seems to be the ballast thats faulty.

Check your headlight fuse, it will be blown. If you replace the fuse with the 15A, it will just blow again.

I put a 20A fuse in and the HID globe remains on, but its super bright -like when u 1st turn them on, and the ballast makes one hell of a noise. While out driving the other night, it was dropping down to normal and back up to super bright intermittently (whilst driving behind a cop no less).

Other ballast works fine.

a light buzzing noise from the ballast is normal. Sounds like a fluorescent tube light.

Are the ballasts getting overly hot? I haven't touched mine when they are operating .. If they are though, you might want to put them in a position where they aren't concealed, hence not able to dissapate heat.

I can see my LED parkers nicely. It blends in well with the white HIDs. But the old yellow incandescent bulbs sucked, sticking out like dog balls on a canary

The "donk" noise from H4-3s is the sound of the solenoid inside the lamp assembly moving the lamp from the low beam position into the high beam position

In fact the light buzzing noise described... and the initial dull lighting on HID bulb ignition is all characteristic of a fluorescent tube as I believe they work of very much the same principles!!

Face it, we're all just too used to crappy Halogen-style bulbs!!

Yes, i have details for warranty. For anyone needing to claim warranty, please make sure you identify it is definitely a fault, and not an installation issue/overheating issue/characteristic of HIDs

I'll just give ya the globes... their only worth about $5-10.
