Default boost issues plz help

I posted a thread about a week ago talkin about a flat spot but the problem has slightly changed now.

if im driving along doing lets say 60 and put my foot down in any gear 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th and the cars starts to rev but when it hits boost the cars revs pick up ( way more than usual, almost like clutch slip ), then drop back, but its deff not clutch slip as ive never expirienced any slippage off the mark.

i dont really understand it as im new to turbo cars any1 have any idea's ??

could this be some sort of boost leak some where ??

Maybe, but it sounds strange that your revs are jumping when your car is boosting. How old is your car? 5spd?

Don't rule out clutch slippage, drive the car in 3rd or 4th under a fair bit of load and blip the clutch pedal so see if the car jerks or the clutch slips.

Sounds like clutch slip to me!!

Any increase in revs followed by a drop back of revs, is 100% clutch...or you have an auto transmission

Most definitely clutch slip. The clutch actually has to work "harder" in higher gear to clamp down the torque from the engine.

Clutch slip. Its the first sign of clutch wear that it slips under power (eg. full throttle/boost while in gear). May shudder when starting from 0kph when you ride it. And yeah, try what E4olution said.

hmm i will get it checked out, it does feel like clutch slip but im not 100% convinced any more suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.

Will let ya kno more when i find out what the prob is for sure.

the car is also 100% stock.

Also as it gains revs it then backs the revs off after the possible slipage then will raise the revs again. im tottaly baffled :S
