Looks like the ceramic coated WRC mufflers.

Hmm...I had one of those sitting in my shed a few years ago...was off the Richard Burns 01 WRC from memory...was sold at a fundraising auction for not very much. The WRC ones have an inbuilt cat.

what benifit from ceramic muff? or would the whole exhaust be done? quicker spool?

probably easier than wrapping the muffler? ceramic= better heat retention.
Seriously for a road going car... why? put the money towards ceramic coating your turbo or headers.
