Default swapping diff's ratio's possible?

Hey guys i was wondering about the possibility of swapping a later model 3.9 ratio helical front lsd into a my00 but still retain the 4.444 ratio's of the current lsd?

By somehow swapping a peice off the current diff, is this possible?

yep, what Tuna said.

I've changed my standard MY00 WRX from:
-3.9 front (open) and 3.54 (viscous) rear
,after removing the 1.1 transfer gear,
-to 4.1 front (helical lsd) and 4.1 rear (plated lsd).

The lsds are diff(erent) to the crown and pinions

Mmm, traction

Which model front lsd's could i swap into my MY00 STI and keep the 4.444 ratio by swapping it over?

Looking for a good torsen style front diff from a production subaru.

you'll need to dissassemble special varients of the STI-RA v5/v6 boxes which came with factory 1 way LSD's.
