but how much is a new TD04? and how much would a good second hand one be?

i am not planning to fit it into my future wrx but it was just a question that popped into my mind (unless its cheap)

ive seen some on here being sold for $400 i think.....but why when a WRX comes with one anyway???

The TD04 is the OEM Turbo for a WRX, so it wouldn't exactly be an upgrade.

Not sure how much they are brand new, but it would be big if you got it direct from Subaru.

I've seen used ones go for less than $300 - Which would be in good condition.

What WRX do you have because most of them (98 onwards????) have the TD04 anyway?

Wouldnt buy new as you can get a vfxx for little more $$$ anyway, should be able to get a decent low kms one for $300 and one that has travelled a few more kms for $200 or less.

I reckon there are a lot of us with TD04's around

A coupla cartons of Premium quality piss and a skanky blonde would cover it!!!

You'd pick em up pretty cheap these days. I guess it boils down to supply and demand. HEAPS of second hand ones lying around and very few people would want them so someone will sell it cheap!

$450 at the most, $100 if you hunt around.
