Default Auto to Manual

Just throwing it out there, but what sorta costs am i looking at to have a my00 5speed box put into an auto my00 wagon? and how much would things like getting a clutch pedal installed, and centre console bits etc be? anithing else i should consider? (apart from buying manual in the first place)

starter motor, wiring mods/harness possibly new ecu?, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, hoses, lines, flywheel, rear diff? pedals are pretty easy to install. I think master cylinder pressures are different

Tailshaft is also different. I will straight swap you my manual one for your Auto one if need be.

Agreed. Even if you go the whole hog and change over everything for it to be a full blown manual, it will still be an auto-manual conversion at the end of the day, a prospective buyer with a trained eye will pick up on it and the compliance plates will show it.

Auto rexies don't have the best resale but there is still a small percentage of ppl out there who would go an auto over a manual.... though I don't think too many on here would...

Not worth the hassle and it may end up costing you more $$$ than the sell-buy option. Get a good sales pitch happening

You dont know how many sweet wrx's i had to turn down because the girlfriend only wanted an auto. Dumbass.

budget 5-6k if your not doing any of it yourself. is a pretty straight forward swap though if you want to find all the parts yourself and attack the basic swap items.
