I don't recommend running any more boost than what you're already running. Your EJ205 will not like it.

To get more power, you'll probably have to change your turbo and you'll definitely need some injectors.

NOS :D....then BANG!!

vf34 will do 250kw, just up the boost.

good idea i will contact him very soon... just wanted to see what you guys think....maybe you have the same mods as me and have some advice..

superman 11-10-2007 02:33 PM

thanks tuna vf34 will on my mind.. would the 550cc injectors be ok or would i need to change them..?

BALISTC 11-10-2007 02:35 PM

If you want to make 250kw on a VF34, you'll need some injectors...especially if your running stockies.

pete gopal 11-10-2007 02:38 PM

won't he need a 207 to run anything more?? that engine wont last long

BOMB3R 11-10-2007 02:38 PM

If you want to make 250kw on an EJ205 you will need a rebuild, before or after but you will need a rebuild.

joey89 11-10-2007 02:42 PM

I dont see a point in getting a vf34 when he cant be running more than 20psi because of stock 205 and its harder to make power . . .

Your 205 is just about at its limit

P.S how many kms has it done?

stacey, how bout u also mention the 100 hours to fine tune the motec to safely run 2+ bar boost to acheive 250 KW on that turbo.. not to mention alot of the other bits to make it get there.... :D

Superman - be happy with what u got. Im sure leigh has tuned it reasonably safe to avoid ur EJ205 from going kaboom.

IF u want more power - than ur looking at a rebuild with forged internals or simply a EJ207 Sti motor. Bigger injectors, and a Turbo such as a TD06 based design or GT30 with a smaller rear hoursing(.56)
Done that with a retune of your autronic and i think 250 kw is very reasonable on high boost 1.5 bar +

As a example - i managed 247kw on a dynamics - running a Forced Performance 'green' turbo (TD06 20G) - running 26 psi - and 800cc injectors.
On my 03 STi.
