The manifold has plenty of meat in it to go out to 66mm, although I think that the 66mm xf tb on a even a EJ257 is a little large.....its rigoli type shit ...goes along with the 2 stage 800hp NOS shots !

Tuna is most likely right if your using std inlet, heads, valves cams etc etc, but I think there are gains to be had with ~64mmtb when using oversize valves, custom manifold and big arse cams...gains in the top end that is !

Last I checked an EF EFI TB was ~ $150-200 to buy...but they are getting old now and may be in worse for wear condition in terms of TPS switch and shaft etc, all fixable tho.

If money isn`t a real issue and you really wanted a bigger TB I would be looking at the many aftermarket items avaliable, preferably the whole manifold and billet TB type shiz.

I will be using a heavliy ported & customised plenum 02 manifold with 64mm TB, oversize valves, ported heads(right down to modifed combustion chambers) and the biggest cams JUN make......should be fun

Cheers

if it has to be done, a simple carby with a pot sensor can be setup as a oversized throttle.
