Perrin rotated turbo kits
 

Hi all,

Just browsing around and came across the GT3076R.

Anyone looked at these?

Opinions? - Upsides/downfalls, what do you think of price/kit, etc ?

wai has got one on his car... however there was a problem installing it as it is suited to a lhd car.

up-pipe was modified.

other then that it is a very nice kit!

He has the kit minus the garret turbo right?

I thought Wai got a Garrett based turbo?

Wai got a Perrin kit, which afaik comes with a Garrett turbo. It didn't fit properly because of the LHD-spec up-pipe (The US Spec cars have more room there due to lack of brake and clutch master cylinder).

Luca, if you're looking at getting a decent turbo kit, take a look at the Full Race twin-scroll turbo kits. [url]www.full-race.com[/url] is their site, and mark my words...you probably won't find a better manifold/up-pipe than the Full Race ones.

Email them and ask if they are making the RHD spec kits yet, as they were supposed to be doing this for Litchfield in the UK.

I reckon a GT3076R twin scroll would be farkin awesome on your car :)

joe is correct... the brake booster was in the way of the up-pipe as it is lhd spec.

i am pretty sure he used the turbo that came with the perrin kit as it is built by precision turbo's and is a GT306R with the anti surge on the compressor.

car is still in the build so see how it goes, what i have last heard from wai was the turbo may not be big enough so it may be for sale at a later date.

wai dosent have a garret turbo but some china spec one that comes with the perrin kit....


the perrin kit DOES not fit a RHD car and there was some modifications needed to be made for it to fit, including upipe and dumpipe as well as a few other things...

What would spool with the twin scroll be like? I'm hitting full boost around 3500rpm atm.
