Default Aftermarket AFM 99/00

Hey, was just wondering if anyone had used a non genuine AFM in a MY99/00? I ordered an AFM today through work and he has supplied me with an aftermarket one.....i havent taken the old one out to see if they are the same yet but i just wanted to see what others thoughts were

I wouldnt risk my engine using aftermarket parts with such a vital component on the OEM ECU.

Curious to know what the a/mkt AFM cost... I bought a new genuine one not too long ago for $191.00 which was less than listed retail, at Bunbury Subaru.

Still get the (very) occasional hiccup with it though ; at least it's a big improvement on the old one .

did yours fail tim? They are all just bosch ones afaik anyway. Havent used one on a wrx though

Do it right get a z32 if not upgrading to ecu , any how got a one at work halla.

yeah i know but its been running an oiled filter, and id rather i make it to the tune than blow up before

especially as i wont be tuning for awhile

forgot insurance is up in Jan
