Hi guys any imput would be greatly appreciated....

my car was making a high pitched squealling noise when accelerating (if i take my foot of the acellerator the noises stop) between 80 -95km...(didnt pick it up when i bought it)

there was a bit of a lip on the rotors so put it down to that...got new tyres and the squeal become softer and was only between 80 - 90 kms when my foot's on the accelerator...

got a service, rotors were machined now its squealling at 90 - 100kms

any ideas as to what it could be its annoying the crap out of me???

brakes?

got it serviced last week and everything checked out and was "sweet"

nah.

its most likely your diff. a common problem.

take it to subaru and tell them whats happening. they should replace it.

Fanbelts..? should squeal at other times as well but

the diff is normally an issue on decel i thought. ever so gently lift the handbrake up while its making the noise and see if it goes away, or get someone in the back seat and see if they can tell where its coming from more accuratly

It could be one of a million things...you make no mention of where it comes from.
Take it to a workshop...

sounds to me like the diff too

my rear diff went two weeks after i had the car - got a new one in 6 weeks

front one went around week 20..... new one again 6 weeks
