Default DIY coilovers?

THINKING of giving it a go my self how hard is it? and what do i need? tein super streets are the coiliesive got if that makes any difference... or is it best left to a mechanic?

Its rather easy given that you have the tools. If in doubt, thats when you take it into a shop. If you do pull it off yourself make sure it goes in for alignment asap.

p.s. must be the first '08 wrx/STi to have coilovers?! did you get edfc controller as well?

nah no edfc will look into it later on
the set i got were brought in by a guy over east privately without going through fulcrum as they arnt in AUS yet apparenty so yeh i lucked out on getting them from him

whos the best priced if i decide to go through a shop?

As muggz said if u have the tools piece of piss to do.. Just go to ur local tyre place and ask them to loosen ur strut bolts then u shouldnt have any trouble..

Don't forget EDFC is a whole lot easier to install while everything else is out of the car. Saves having to whip your seats, etc out again.

I converted a set of R31's for my datto a few years back and it was easy as, you are essentially removing the spring seat putting on the adjustable and modding the strut top...... if only it took that amount of time to do though....
