Do you have any lights on the key pad now with the ignition off
is it in manual mode (all lights on)
or
is it in sleep mode (no lights on)
because of the battery problem youve found

SLEEP MODE
(taken from brant manual for MY03)

If the vehicles battery is disconnected or its voltage drops below 10 volts, the system will automatically enter sleep mode (no lights on keypad when ignition is off) to conserve its internal battery.

To wake the system from sleep mode.
Disconnect the battery.
Turn the ignition to the on position.
Reconnect the battery.
pressing any button will now wake the system from sleep mode.

WOOHOO and YAY ME!

I fixed it...... so yeh here's how it went....The immobiliser skitz out coz one of the pipes from my FMIC was touching the positive terminal on the battery and shorting out, so i shoved a bit of rubber between the two, hook the battery up to another and fired her up no worries. then the immobiliser was still wigging out, found i had to turn the siren thingy under the bonnet off n then on again with that lil key whatsy (yes i decided that is the technical name for it) which reset the the immobiliser put it in manual mode. So i switched it to auto arming mode and bobs ur uncle.

Now only thing is the battery problem ... off the the auto lecky tuesday to get a battery put in with terminals on the other side and leads extended to reach.

Thanks heaps for all your help guys.
