Yes you would if they see it....it would be seen as an oil leak to start with, plus if the inspector knows what he is looking at, he'll pick it up for emissions, as mentioned above.

If I were you, I'd shove a bolt in the end of the hose and zip tie it out of the way before you went over the pits.

ok, i'l just zip tie it out of sight.

BTW - whats the height requirement to pass?
and is warwick pits at the police station ?

teejay 10-03-2008 09:23 AM

100mm at the lowest point
and
yes

waxdass 10-03-2008 09:41 AM

thanks

Heh they showed me how they measure it. You roll onto the concrete and over the pit. They get a 25mm thick brooom, and run it along the plates that are 75mm from the ground hence the 100mm like tj said. And yes, lowest point, so that doesnt mean your skirt, usually its your exhaust (especially dylans cannon of death)

yeah if its 10cm i should alright, i raised the car yesterday, need to take the tints off today, hopefully go over tomorrow without the cat... try my luck.

teejay 10-03-2008 10:24 AM

dude dont be retarded - you wont pass without a cat.

Its the first thing they look at when they got under mine.

waxdass 10-03-2008 04:42 PM

cat's sorted.

What time are pits open till?

Would I be OK going there around 11 ?? (only time i can make it)

Elrico 10-03-2008 04:48 PM

I went at about 10-11 as it took me an hour to drop the coilies and 'plumb back' the bov. Depends where you are going, seems that a few people have been yellowed lately. I had a que of 2 cars in 2 lanes. 2ez.
