Default CEL light help

My cel came on when i turned the car on, cruise control light is flashing and not functioning, have read the other posts about this and have disconnected my battery and reset it all, cel light is still on and cc light also. Is taking it to subaru my only alternative to get the code checked?

Any one know what could of caused this, yes iv taken it to red line the last time i drove it, but i often take it to red line and this hasnt happened before it seems to be driving fine although after resetting it, its idling pretty erratically, which i was told was to be expected for the first few k's?

Have you put an exhaust or BOV on but didnt have a tune? thats the likely cause to throw a CEL. No car should idle erratically... should be corrected asap! Any workshop can remove that code.

Catback and pod filter without a tune is your problem. Best to get it tuned asap, that way later on you can add your upgraded intercooler and just pay for dyno time..

you'll be very lucky if you can get it tuned in the next few months tho, you have a few options,

A: go back to standard and take it to Subaru / local garage
B: wear your shortest skirt / Cry at All Star Garage see if they can fit you in...
