Default Erratic boost

I just installed a China Bleed valve (more than likely the problem...).

T peice from wastegate line goes into the bleed valve then the "exhaust" side of the bleed valve is plumbed back into the MAP sensor (tried it without plumbing it back in and seemed to make little difference).

Now when you nail it through the gears from 1st, it will boost to 16 psi or so, but if your say in 3rd at 2000 rpm, and floor it, it wont go more than 10/11 psi.

Any ideas, or is it likely the bleed valve is the problem?

Yeah thats what I mean.

I'm suprised as to why it didnt make a difference if it was plugged into the boost solenoid or not....

When you run a bleed valve, its usually tee'd in between the turbo and the wastegate, not between the T-piece and the boost solenoid....the bleed valve is supposed to bleed the air off from the turbo going into the wastegate, to fool the wastegate into seeing less boost pressure.

In this way, it opens the wastegate up at a higher pressure, thus increasing your boost.

By putting it in like you did, it wont be working in the way it should.

Try it the other way and see how ya go
