Question Boost Gauge

I have noticed my Defi boost gauge is reading about .5 bar over!
I don't know if it is a coincidence but I have just fitted a Fmic and bigger turbo.
Anyone have any ideas

Your boost gauge peak reading is 0.5bar higher than it used to be before you installed a FMIC and bigger turbo?

You got a re-tune after the turbo and i/c were installed, right?

boost spikeing?? im assuming the car was tuned after the stuff was installed ??/ my advice would be take it back to where it was done and get them to suss it out before it goes bang !

So it's tuned to 1.3bar, but when you give it some stick it shows up 1.8 bar all the time?

Or is it just the peak value stored in the defi?

If it is the peak, reset and see how it goes (could be a spike, my peak is well past 2bar, but that was just a spike).

I am going by the peak value.
I will key an eye on the gauge while driving when I get my car back from BBK tomorrow.

Cheers
