Default Weird problem.....

Hi all!

Just thought I'd post this up to see if anyone else has had a similar problem and if they have a solution etc...

Basically every now and again my car on WOT will just randomly cut out. The engine wont shut off completely but it is as if the ignition has been cut. It isn't a cut like a rev limiter cut so to speak....the engine will just stop. Once this happens, if you back off the throttle and then apply the throttle again, the car will happily accelerate.

Additionally, if the car does cut out, no check engine lights appear, however the ABS light comes on and stays on until you turn the car off and back on again.

Any ideas as to what this could be? I have just had a motec fitted, and the problem occured WITH the standard ecu as well as with the motec...

Some people on REXNET have suggested it is fuel cut? I wouldnt think this would occur though seeing as the motec is now running the show....not the stocker ecu?

Anyone?

You should have had Subaru have a look before you put the Motec in.
