Default Brant Owners Manual

Like the title says.... Brant Owners Manual.... I think I've sent it out about 7 times just today so I'm posting it up.

If you want to know where it came from I emailed Brant when I needed it and this is what they sent me. I want to be clear that this manual DOES NOT tell you how to disable your brant and I wouldnt recomend doing that.

Cheers
Fox

its available to all brant owners its not a secret that no one is ment to know how to operate. They sent it to me and since I wasnt charged for it I dont think I'm breaching any kind of copyright laws. If you went and purchased a brant alarm system off the shelf you would get this.

The problem with posting this, is that burgler bill can look at the manual, then he knows what to look for to determine if the brandt is active or not, not a good scenario if you do not use the brandt to its full potential.
my 2c
FWIW doesn't bother me if its posted, as every time i start my car i have to enter my pin anyway...

ok fair enough but without the code burgler bill still cant steal ur car. And burgler bill can email brant and ask for it and have it sent to them in under 10 minutes just like I did.

Sorry guys I think there is some confusion about what info this manual has.... It in no way tells you how to disable your brant and none of the settings can be made without using your pin code and as far as I understand it has to be the original pin code. you can not look at this book and disarm anyones brant if you dont have the pin code. There is no one master code each car has its own. This is an owners manual it tells you how to access the basic settings of your brant alarm.

If you are silly enough to set up your Brant so you dont need to enter the pin code every time this manual being on here isnt what will put your car at risk of being stolen.

Car thiefs cant do shit unless they have the code. They can read this 1000000times and they still wont get anywhere with your car. Enabling/disabling any functions that came with the alarm system needs you to punch em keys in. I personally keep my maunals in the car. If some fukface is game enough to break into my car, ill let him sit there and read that book. I know he aint gonna get no where.

It comes with the car. Any car theif would know this anyway.

Also nothing in the manual tells you anything remotely interesting on how to steal it.

I think its good, gives people without the manual a useful reference on how to switch modes, put on valet when dropping the car off somewhere etc.

shrug, when burgalar bill comes into your house and asks you for the code at knife point, now he knows how to put it into valet mode so he doesn't have to remember the code
