Plumback recirculate the pressure back through, where as the Atmo ones vent it into the atmosphere. theres not really any difference, beside the noise. the fuel consumption is higher wen using a Atmospheric one, and also in most circumstances ul run richer. Stock ftw imo.

Atmo will play havoc with AFM's.. Plumback wont - as per factory

You wont gain any performance on a std setup.. comes into play when u run higher boost levels.. so you dont get leakage on the factory unit.

In saying that - the factory diaphram type's handle decent boostage anyways

I'm running the factory valve at 20pound .. leak from factory BOV's is a myth imho. With an APS CAI, and silicone intake, when cruising around you can't really hear it, but on full noise it almost sounds like it's atmo.

Best of both worlds, without the overfuelling issues.

Stick with factory BOV, even the early plastic ones work well and the later metal ones are just fine for anything short of huge boost.

If you intend running a T70 at 3.5 bar with a Mack truck front mount and a Tial external gate....go the rice racer atmo special....otherwise spend your hard earned on a useful upgrade (suspension or brakes??).

depends what year wrx your running 01 + had no problems with the stock bov... earlier ones can leak when you get to higher levels. both types make noise though, plumb backs are not necessarily silent if you have intake mods.
