Default How to clean up engine bay

Well since the car is off the road, i was thinking of cleaning up the engine bay. Is there any guides to which to do so??

Do you mean clean? as in general dirt and stuff?
If so, then truck wash is great.

When i was into 4wding, after a play in the mud, id go home, put some truck wash in the engine bay, left it for a bit, then hit it with the hose. came up a treat. For real hard to get to stuff, i used to hig pressure hose on a lower setting.

supercheap sells it. Think is called CT-18.

There's a heap of well populated forums on car detailing (beware, they are addictive) and some of the detail is incredible

You'll find dozens of threads with pix just on engine bays alone.

One example: http://www.autopia.org/forum/
