Before everyone else tells you, go get a Verso tune done at AllStar Garage. $990 drive in drive out + $$$ for a better panel filter, 3 port boost solenoid (better boost control) and a resonator removal (which you could do yourself if you have half a clue about tools and what they can do). This will give you by far and away the best result per dollar. Should you add any mods later on such as exhaust etc a quick half hour retune will again extract the best out of the package. Do not waste time with a boost controller

The tune will give you boost sooner, improve driveability and produce higher torque and horsepower numbers.

"Need" probably not. Considering you can get one for about $100 it certainly won't break the bank and should help things out a bit.

Do not get a boost controller. There is so much knowlege on tuning and it is so cheap to get a stock ecu re-flash you would be stupid not to do it.

Otherwise smash in 2 bar and buy a spare motor at the same time
