Default Changing Spark Plugs on an MY99 - How to??

Never changed the plugs on my car myself, only ever on old school motors, is it very hard? Been looking for a 'how to' and cant find anything relevant, can anyone point me in the right direction.

They look like bastards to get to.

Josh

not really

you'll need the right socket, forget the size, a 3" extension, and a ratshit to get em out

otherwise its same same as any other car, just use 3/8 drive ratshit bar and socket, and your set

I did mine the other day, a little tricky.

I used smallish socket set (1/4 drive) with an extension and swivel (i needed a swivel cause my extensions were either too short or too long). Drivers side i assume you gotta remove the airbox (i have a pod filter and had to take that off), remove the leads and stick it in and hope for the best

passenger side is little trickier, you gotta remove the water bottle and theres a bracket with some shit on it next to the battery you will need to move. This side is a little more tricky than the drivers side.

The holes should be pretty clean though cos the leads of a cover on them.

This was for my MY00, so it should be the same

yeah as above, did mine a while ago, kinda tricky but easy enough.

remove airbox, battery and washer bottle, makes the job a whole lot easier.
