Removing door trim
Hey guys,
Since my drivers power window is stuck half way down (and Subaru want $800 for a motor :/) I'm going to take off the door trim to have a looksie. Does anyone have a guide on where all the screws and clips are before I go gung ho on it? Cheers.

On most cars that I have removed door trims from including my GC8 there are:
screw in the door handle surround couple in the door jam where the hinge is. pop the electric window controls out and disconnect (just don't forget to reconnect before you put everything back together. After that its just a matter of feeling around the inner side of the trim and gently pulling as the plastic clips come away. Also look for plastic covers that may cover screws, pop them off and see if there are any. Easy job mate..... If you need a hand let me know. See if you can go to the wreckers and get a motor, much cheaper I should imagine.

Be gentle when popping out the window control panel - tabs break easily. Use two flat blade screwdrivers to lever out the "arrow" clips that hold the bottom & sides of the trim to the door. Apart from that, as above

try not to break the plastic clips that hold the pannel into the door, they always brake n you can never find any spares when you wont them.
