Default Rear Suspension Problem?

The rear right suspension has felt weird for the past few weeks (feels like the wheel is going in and out of place if that makes sense), but its been getting progressively worse so wanted to see if anyone has an idea on here before taking it to wa suspensions/wilkos.

Car is 05 sti with H&R coilovers that have around 40 000km on them, had a friend take a look at the coilover as i was slowly creeping forward - he said that he could see that the coilover would compress as i would go down hill, then get stuck while trying to decompress?

Car also makes a rear knocking sound when on full lock but i hear thats fairly normal.

Any suggestions would be great!

Good choice, I think Brett offers a discount to Perth WRX members as well.

Btw has anyone ever used the Pedders suspension test and was it any use?

its the rear top hats,

im guessing you have pillowball rears?

change back to the rubber top hats and it will go away. Its something to do with the 03-05 rears that dont seat properly

I'd love to take my car to Pedders and see their reaction.

As Tode said, probably that or maybe stiction issues? I'm sure the guys at WA Suspensions will have no problems diagnosing it.
