Another silly question i suppose, but can the ABS unit which sits in the engine bay be relocated easily??

I know there are a few hardwires that go to the unit.. If these are extended will it affect the way the ABS unit functions??

nope, relocate brake plumbing, and depending on where you put the abs pump, you will have to extend the wiring.
