Default clutch not engaging an peddle staying down??

right i fitted 4.44 dif and box, when box was put on checked the clutch was engaging pedal felt good... finished puttin her back together and when i went to put her in gear.... pushed clutch down an it stayed down an i pulled it up with my foot... any ideas?,,,,

im sure i saw this in the uk when we did one before but i cant for the life of me remember what was causing it.... maybe linkage???? im sooooo confused!!!

cheers any help would be appreciated..

Hmmm I had this happen when I put a motor in.........I put the thrust bearing in the wrong way around lol, not the first & not the last but it sounds like you've had some sort of pedal feel so probably not that.

Sounds like the trouble I had. Was the circlip on the thrust bearing installed correctly? Mine wasnt sitting into the fingers and I had to split the motor and box again to re align it.

its all good now turns out my mate put a spring on the slave cylinder an it pushed the fluid out!! took it off an it works fine now!!!!
