Just an update after fitting the Hyperflow catch can I ran all day yesterday at Barbagello's & had about 50ml of oil in it after approx 40+ laps, the old catch can had about 250ml after 3 laps so a big improvement.

I heard on the grapevine that the Hyperflow is good for knocking off a second around Barbs Maybe they might invite you into the fast lane at the next No limits

Wouldnt that surgest that maybe your hyperflow one doesnt work as well? Its a catch can, therefore if its catching less oil than the old one then your old one was better. If you had 250ml in your can after 3 laps then i would think your motor is very very loose!

Thats a given. Though if both plumbed the same and one has heaps of oil (meaning it has grabbed lots of oil out of the air) then wouldnt that mean that works better? Im lost...

You're assuming they were both plumbed the same? There are a number of different ways of plumbing catch cans...then you have differences in placement of the unit, diameter of hoses....etc, etc... apples and oranges...

Hence the reason i said, "if both where plumbed the same". Anyway, how is it possible to have 250ml in your catchcan after 3 laps? Surely to have that much oil in your airlines then something is quite wrong?

I think that the conditions that the car is under at the time comes into play also. My old mans WRX looked like the EXXON VALDEZ after a couple of laps of Collie, was perfectly fine around AHG track, a little at the Meelup Hillclimb a couple of weeks ago and then perfect around Barbagello ( except losing a bonnet scoop at 200kmh ) last Sunday so the forces of braking and cornering might come into play?? But this is where a few people are left scratching their head.
