The motor is a forged 2 litre with minimal km's, 250ml in 3 laps of Barbagello is excessive and the original catch can was just a bad design IMO, it had 1 inlet half way down the side of the can & one outlet just above & a tiny breather on the top with an ID of approx 3mm so I think it was acting as a vacuum. Car has been running like a monster with acceptable oil in the catch can & little additional engine oil usage.

Mighty thread bump.
Anyone currently running one of these? and Where is the best (cheapest) place to purchase from? Currently $275 on Tuspeed and Carmodsaus Reason being - I am getting a fair amount of blow by on the MY00, and the engine is around 215 000km and now has leaky seals etc Looking for something that will solve my problem well, and keep a somewhat factory appearance. Was considering an AOS but have heard from a couple of guys running them that they are probably not as effective as a catch can Last edited by Jezza; 09-09-2011 at 10:47 AM. |
