I was going to say might be the wheel bearings I had the same problem at the back think there was to much sideways action and the bears and bushings gave up dont go sideway anymore but man its fun in awd

Default Hijack!!!

I have similar humming. But it only happen when car is turning right and straightening from the turn. Happens occasionally, most often after hard driving. I was told if its the bearing it will Hume at you constantly. Can't pin point the place. Best guess: 80% from the right but no idea whether its front or the back. My guess will be the diff. Any comment? Thanks

Hahaha, RIP EVO!!!! How are you mate!? Advise your friend to carry a spare BOV in the car or drive like a granny and don't boost or over boost the car. I seriously doubt that cover will be useful in the long run.
