Default Airbag light

Hi all - my airbag warning light is on in my MY03,
at first it only came on every now and then, but now it is on every start up.
any suggestions on where to look for a loose plug or something like that
or is this something that should be fixed by Subaru ?

Cheers...

Have a play with the wiring under your drivers seat. Pretentioner wiring could have been pulled or something. Pretty common my bro's my03 does the same thing

For the benefit of future searches............................
I had this problem looked at by Bunbury Subaru
the car was throwing a code 11 - after testing the function of various airbag system components the trouble was narrowed down to the airbag module or the roll connector - these components where removed tested and found to be ok - after reinstalling them the code cleared - so it seemed to be a poor connection that just required re-plugging - cost $50
