Im aware of its limits, the question im asking is, is it worth it to drive a VF30 (by adding my P18 hot-side) @ 18psi compared to a VF35 @ 18psi on a soon-to-be verso tuned 02 WRX ?

Yer tough one, i'd like to know the answer to that too.
The P18 will obviously flow better than the 35 as i think the 35 has a smaller exhaust housing. My 34 has a p18 and i recall that being bigger than what was on the VF35.

The old Lag Vs Peak power question remains unanswered..........
I'd just go with making it a VF30 and get Sean to tune the bejebus out of it. Lag shouldn't be any real problem, they'll both be laggier than the TD04L anyway. What I was alluding to earlier was that if it's essentially free to just whack the VF35 on, do that. If your freind is paying someone to put the 2 bits together it draws the bang for buck ratio down quite a bit.

vf34 is less laggy and has more potential then a vf30 for the same size front and rear housings... its still the best $ for kw out of the two.
