Default radiator helps

hey dudes

its the time of the year again when my wrx demands money be spent!

i have noticed it has started to leak radiator fluid over the last 4 days and its geting worse , i though it was a house when i went to fix it yesterday but it looks like its comign from the left hand end tank on the core (small split)

whats the best option for geting this fixed: replace it? , get it repaired? , look for a second hand one?

any info would help.

thanks duders

"chemiweld" works well sealing up cracks, but requires a bit of your own labour. Can get from supercheap or coventrys cheap

Also clogs galleries and eventually blocks the radiator... Steer well clear of that shit...

ahahahaha.

seriously though, you can buy Selleys metal 'knead-it'. about $15 from bunnings, which is a 2 part epoxy that you knead together and stick to things, let it dry and it sets as hard as metal.

ive used it on an a crack in an engine block (non wrx ), and its still going strong after 6 months.

worth a shot for a cheap fix.

Steve.
