Well my HSD HR coilovers absolutely wanted to remove any loose fillings and generally felt about as solid as anything while they were wearing in. Now they've worn in they are still very stiff but not over the top. There should be a spot on the underside or the top that will change the stiffness

^ Look for this knob, wheel, etc.

On mine, (same brand as Phizzles), its a small nut that goes thru 16 increments. (1 being soft -> 16 back breaking). Also, make sure spring pre-load is set correctly, and its not too tight, or flopping around.

But yeah - some research should tell you on your model of Cusco coilovers, how many 'stages' the damper can go through, for setting your ride, dare I say... comfort... lol.

Brent.

jappy cusco coilovers will probably be very similar to 4 lumps of jarrah in terms of flexibility

Do you have the engine in the car? if not, you would be unlikely to be able to move it at all.

also with a half cut, there will be less weight on the front wheels since the back of the half cut is sitting on the ground..
