V6 STi Control Arms Installation
Hi Guys,
Just need some help here, i have a pair of front alloy control arms. Just wondering do i need anything else to bolt it straight on to the bottom of a MY00 GC8 WRX ? Also, what are the benefits of these stuff other than it being lighter? Your wise comments are all appreciated. Cheers Jian |

Does anyone know if alloy control arms change the castor settings BEFORE any castor mods are made to the rear pivot?
stock steel arms VS stock gc8 alloy arms.

I have read somewhere it's better handling and improves response. Obviously a reduction in weight will be an advantage as well.

As for the V6 STi ones, i came across the links that Whiteline sells and found that it was only for the normal OE plastic ones found on the stock control arms.
Hence i reckon these set of alloy arms have a different set of links in order to fit it onto a GC8. Anyone can help me double confirm what i said?? |

you will need the rosejointed swaybar links, yes they are different. they are about $90 for a pair of new ones from Subaru

you might be able to find them on japan parts but probably easier getting the VIN off one of the guys here with a GC8 STI and ordering them from a stealership
