Default Won't Freaking Start

MY03 STI Brant Alarm

so here goes; let car sit for awhile maybe a month but gave her regular starts and runs however battery shat itself.

had a spare battery from a 4WD and could jump it no problems; However bought a new battery today changed it out NOW IT WON"T START.

normally enter pin key pad changes from all numbers illuminated pump primes boost controller powers up and off i go.

I enter my pin but doesn't deactivate the immobiliser no priming of pumps etc.

engine turns over no problems just the other stuff.

Please help before I Beat this Bitch with something heavy.

Call Subaru - you will need master code to reset brant

Complain loudly - and they might give it to you

Otherwise its a trip to subaru with papers.. and pay a fee for it

thanks guys...
so in future if your changing your battery jump the old one pull it out while runnig and replace with new one???

before paying dealer - check sleep mode !

SLEEP MODE
If the vehicles battery is disconnected or its voltage drops below 10 volts, the system will automatically enter sleep mode (no lights on keypad when ignition is off) to conserve its internal battery.

To wake the system from sleep mode.
Disconnect the battery.
Turn the ignition to the on position.
Reconnect the battery.
pressing any button will now wake the system from sleep mode.

That happened to me too.. best thing i did was got it removed and fitted a alarm... its up to you.. but i am so happy i don't have it any more it was a pain in the butt.

yeah checked the sleep mode; thanx anyways i'll spin some bullshit and see if lady luck gets me a freebie.

yup this is how i got RAC to do the battery swap last time as they dont carry the little cigarette lighter battery pack anymore.
