suspension bushes on gc8 and...

ok the lil budgee's coming pretty close to 200 clicks (175k) and i am pretty sure most of my suspension bushes are close to their used by date.

does anyone know if you can buy a kit where u get all the rubber bushes replaced, and if so what is the price of one of these kits?

also this is a very sidetracked questain, but is it worth keeping a wrx and developing further that has done this many kms? my main concern is wear and tear(ie suspension bushes, chassis and body strength/stability) engine and gearbox arent my concerns as these have already being rebuilt. are km's really just a number or are they a real measure of the age of a car? make sense?? o.O

cheers

The K's on that CS4 are not true K's. Don't forget Scott rebuilt that engine.

Whiteline has heaps of bushes and suspension thingy for our cars man.. reckon they do have a package like a bushes and stiffening kit or somewhere along the line. Drop them an email or a call and see if they are able to help.

Sorry to go off topic but is this just a tread for CS4's? :-P

My theory on suspension is replace parts as an upgrade, or just wait till something wears/breaks and then replace it.
One thing Johan, I would replace the rear sway bar mounts with HD items as one broke on me and I had to reweld it (hopefully still holding up!!!)

would love to hear from ppl who have replaced their factory bushs with aftermarket gear. any significant improvement/difference?
