$2500-2700 for a used one,I think it would be better than the 1825.

I had one of these for a while on my car, good turbo and picked up good torque and power over the VF36. There is one on the Jap Yahoo site at the moment (Import monster).

They are hard to find, and are very expensive new, great turbo for the 2litre.

cheers

Sorry, it finished today, went for over $1500.00 though, you just need to check from time to time :-

http://www.importmonster.com.au/view...le=203%20VF42r

Look under S203 or S204, or just check all the Subaru turbos.

cheers

I posted a new PB at Collie 2 weeks ago (52.2sec) with room for improvement (I wasn't on the ragged edge at all), and did alright at the EVO/WRX challenge on Sunday

My car has (at least) 30-40hp atw less than previous set-up but is obviously quicker at the track - even during pre-event testing at AHG long track on shit box r-comps I was lapping as quick as before. Heck - even my times at Jack's Hill weren't too bad considering my tree hugging off during the practice run on fubar tyres (ask Franz how fucked they were).

My car has basic mods - VF37, tune & exhaust - that's it! I put the factory airbox back on too - it's basically a JDM spec 05STi (I'm trying to stick to M2 Targa Regs in case I cage it up in future).

Love the torque, response and punch - I could never go back to a FMIC set-up again.
what pwr and tq you getting fled? and where is ya max tq rpms?

Interested to compare to mine..

I has 300hp and 420Nm at the hubs, max tq is at 3800...this is with a TD05-18G/TMIC/headers/zaust/ecu/05 sti..
