Default Noob question

Are Pod filters easy to fit? I currently just have the factory box.

I also heard you can get a yellow licky for them? BS?

You'd be hard pressed to get an improvement with a pod filter over the factory airbox. Silicone intake to factory box is still the best option unless you're chasing 450hp+.

Quoted for truth.

Another good mod to do is to remove the resonator from the inlet tract. Do a quick search on 'resonatorectamy' and it'll point you in the right direction. Piece of piss to do and will take less than half an hour and free up a few hidden killawasps later on.
Of course if you are chasing the induction noise then it's a different story....
In reference to the canary for having one, well, in a way it just gives Constable Care a reason to give you one if they don't like you. By having a stock looking engine you might be able to get away with a bit provided you show them respect, at least that's what I've found anyway.

Im holding off for the exchange rate, but the HKS Kansai airbox replacement looks to be an awesome piece of gear utlising the best of both worlds. Flow of the pod with the temp insulation from an airbox.

What if you have a FMIC pipe running through your front guard? How are you ment to put the airbox back in its original position? Does it go back?
