If they do, I'm in. Look at the pipework!
I'm running an upside down front mount, and there is no way the pipework is shorter than right way up. Mind you, GC's dont have as big a grille...

there is a guy from NZ ran one on his 2006 STi Spec C.
Logged intake temps before and after - in the end went with a APS front mount. Got way better cooling, and much earlier spool. I'l dig up the thread.. waste of money. |

Anyway here is his BEFORE post... http://www.edge-tuning.com/phpBB2/vi...49cf60ff6e9b68 and here is the AFTER (with APS front mount). http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1100175 then again - many factors dictate spool etc, make your own mind up. |

good reading on the threads, especially the data-logging!
power enterprise v-mount aswell, so can't compare it directly with this one. many many jap time attack cars run with this as r&d for various tuning houses so combined with the right setup it must be worthwhile? i rationale at a guess that the real benefit of the v-mount which has not been exposed in his data is the lack of forcing the hot air out of the engine bay ala wrc style bonnet vents (or even the drift-pig raised bonnet). would be good though, to see back to back results from pw with its fmic kit vs a v-mount v2 kit. |
