Oem Subaru part numbers / Vin decoding service
Hi All,
I figure this may help members deal with some dealerships who seem to unhelpful in regard to assisting with parts for cars over 5 years old. I have myself a copy of Subaru's Fast 2 parts catalogue on my home system. If anyone needs someone to interpret parts for their cars please pm me. (but don't message me for trim clips and nuts & bolts o.k!!) ****You'll need to give me your full VIN number.**** Parts to be interpreted MUST be oem fitment for your specific vin number. I will email you the list of Subaru part numbers you require (once compiled). I can compile service item lists for those who like to do their own timing belts etc or provide you with the list of gasket part numbers for a manifold swap etc. It's then up to you to approach the dealer of your choice with the list of part numbers for pricing / availability. I can also decode any Aus delivered subaru vin and provide your factory paint & trim codes or provide you with exploded component views. The system identifies STI's and other special models, so if your looking at a car that's touted as an STI but your unsure Pm me the VIN and I'll give you truth. I'm doing this to help anyone who uses oem parts in their cars, it will make it easier for you to get the answers you want from the dealer, without the rushed parts interpretation over their parts counters. I'm providing this service FREE to all Perth Wrx members for the better good, please don't abuse the offer! (and keep quiet about where the part numbers are coming from!) Rossco!
