Default Twin scroll

Hi all,
Just a quick question about twin scroll setups:

1- Is it true you need equal length headers? (lose the beloved rumble by going twin scroll?) D:

2- Just a rough estimation in cost for a vf36 or 37 upgrade on an 04 wrx. Think it could be done with 5k?

Yes. All twinscroll headers are equal length.

Budget around $2-2.5K for all the OEM parts needed for a twinscroll conversion. You need the turbo, headers, up-pipe, down pipe, sump, oil pick up, and I think maybe the dipstick too. Then add install labour and re-tuning. Should be able to do the lot for under $4K easy. Plus you can sell off your old stuff to recoup a bit of the costs back.

PM spikey. I think he has probably got the gear you need.

IHI VF38 won't fit as they are off the Liberty which is slightly different to the Impreza setup.

Edit: plus those prices are in USD
