Best Head Checking joint
Gents,
I am in the midst of buying a EJ207 due to a presumed piston and smoke issue today. Cops even drove past me as I was limping home and were openly laughing. Anyway who is the best fellow in Perth to check over my heads? When I was into drag cars there was a fellow named Michael Marriot from Northam with a business called flow tested cylinder heads but I have not heard of him for 20 years. Would the heads normally need machining? Thanks guys, Mark |

head torque in osborne park, heads are basically all they do, and they do them very well.

Mick Marriot is still in business, same story as 20 years ago.
I've used Sabre race engines in Carlisle and he did a nice job. If you want a guy who knows how to get the most out of EJ20/EJ25 ports etc send them straight to Tony Knight at Knight Race Engines in Adelaide. |

Highly recommend Southside Engine centre in Myaree. Contrary to popular belief, they dont only build high performance 6's and 8's.

this Mick Marriot fellow has been doing this for over 30 years then.
He used to run a low budget camira with a 302 Chev and got into the 7's 20 years ago. Best thing was he was a bloody good bloke. |

A mate recently used Harris Engines in Osborne Park for his GTR. Not sure what they're like though - He seemed happy.
